"Kahit sino pa maging presidente kailangan mo kumuha ng insurance for your family". - Papa Jack
The maze of election 2022 is over. President-elect Bong Bong Marcos has been planning for the next 6 years' goal for our country. How about you? Have you recently revisited your plans? Maybe this is the best start to recalibrate your goals. It could be your physical health, spiritual health, or just your finances which we are always talking about. Today is the best year to start. If you have not started, I am here to give you some tips to get you going.
1. Evaluation. The other week I took my youngest child to the hospital for his monthly newborn vaccination. The doctor told us that the baby has some skin pigmentation which was initially seen as rashes. However, today it has turned into an early form of eczema. We were advised to apply a topical lotion to prevent the early formation of skin problems in newborn babies.
Evaluation is the early stage of identifying the problem and providing solutions to your future difficulties. The famous quote that says "prevention is better than cure" simulates the application at this stage. So whatever area of life you may have check where you are. If you have an issue with your health make amends on your food intake. Do some diet or better yet, subscribe to a food program that will help you get away from your future health issues.
Our lives have been tainted by political rivalries and sectarian deferences. Every one of us is at war. Our souls have been the main target in all of these conflicts. Our mind, emotions, and our decision-making. A lot of people are quarreling behind the scene. A lot of friendships have ended and families were in conflict. This is the best time to evaluate where we are. Is it worth the time spent with you fighting against each other while your candidate stays behind in their rooms taunting on what's the next move to make them famous and win the election? Come on my friend, it's not worth it. Its time to evaluate.
Another area of our lives that we need to evaluate is our finances. Where you are right now, will set the difference to where you want to go on your financial journey. I have written some articles about this topic here in maximizing your investment.
2. Prepare. The next step is to prepare. Prepare for the worst thing that might happen. After the election, the transition to the next government is very crucial. The new leaders are being appointed and prior are being demoted. This is very painful. Most of us don't see these changes or don't feel the effect of this transition but our economy is suffering from the trial. Many of us will say, what will happen to the Philippine Economy? The financial guru Randel Tiongson says "brace for more financial impact in the coming weeks.
After your evaluation, it is very important to secure this next step. Preparation is the key to a successful future. The best of it all after you evaluate your families need. The next step is to do something about it. The best thing is if there is an unfortunate event happen to you there is something to cover you. Ika nga nila, "Kahit sino pa maging presidente, your family needs insurance." This is a must and you need to make sure that Life Insurance is the first thing that you need to consider if you love your family.
3. Resolve. The third and final advice that I can share with you is to resolve any conflict that you have. Yes, I know that the election has made a huge impact on our emotions. I cannot discount the depression and dissatisfaction from the drama of the election. I can imagine during the 24hour period of seeing the numbers coming alive from the Comelec counters and the news. I was so disappointed and I even cried. Oh Lord, what will happen to us, the Philippines.
But here is the thing let us declare, today I resolve the conflict that I have in my heart. I know that I have expected much. But one thing is for sure I resolve to forgive myself and other people with whom I have a virtual fight to defend our freedom to choose and elect our electoral bet. Right now, I stand in peace and by faith, we know that the God who causes us to work together for good will be faithful to complete what he has started in my heart. I am confident that God has a plan for our country better than what we think.
