It's hard to believe that 2023 is here already. The world is changing so quickly, and we can't wait to see what the future holds. One thing is certain: 2023 will be exciting! Here are some things we think you should do in 2023:
Visit the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan
Japan is
a truly magical place to visit. I missed going back in Japan for Cherry Blosom
festival. I remember back in 2015 when I
first landed in the land of the rising sun.
The cherry blossoms are beautiful and make for great photo
opportunities, but you don't have to wait for them when you can see them all
year round. If you're looking for something more active, there's plenty of
culture and history to explore in Japan as well!
The
Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan is one of the best times of year to visit this
country because it's filled with amazing events like parades, fireworks shows
and performances by local celebrities (like Cho Jin-woong). Like we also have
that here in the Philippines right, in Baguio Panagbenga.
If you're
into anime or video games or have friends who do—or if even just want some time
alone with your loved ones—this festival is perfect because it gives everyone
an excuse not only enjoy what they're doing but also experience everything else
that makes life exciting here: meeting new people; seeing sights like temples;
eating delicious food at restaurants run by locals who know how important their
jobs are -all while enjoying nature outside their comfort zone...
The Great Barrier Reef is still alive!
The Great
Barrier Reef is still alive, and it's one of the most biodiverse places on
Earth. It's also a World Heritage Site and home to over 1,500 species of fish.
The reef
is so large that you'll need several days to explore it in depth. If you're
looking for a less-touristy experience, head out at night when the stars come
out—you'll see what makes this place so special up close!
Start your own non-profit organization
A
nonprofit organization is a legal entity that operates with the purpose of
promoting public welfare. It can be run
by one person or a group of people, who are called board members.
I started
creating community funded like non-profit organization using facebook group. Today its easier to do so. If you want to participate in donating your used
clothes, or simply you want to declutter, you can join our Facebook group here: Donation Drive
Philippines.
If you
want to start your own nonprofit organization, there are several benefits:
- Your business can be
completely tax deductible for all contributions made to it by donors (tax
deductible).
- You can receive grants from
foundations and government agencies in order to fund specific projects or
programs within your community (grants).
Learn to play guitar
Learning
to play an instrument is a great way to get started with music, and the best
part is that you can do it from the comfort of your own home. The learning
curves for instruments like guitar, piano and drums are generally easier than
those for violin or trumpet. And if you're really serious about playing an
instrument well enough to perform in public (or just make some noise on), then
there are plenty of opportunities out there: local bands often need players who
can play at least one instrument well enough so as not to embarrass them when
they hire musicians by showing up late or not knowing how long their set should
go on for!
You might
also consider learning how to play another type of instrument like harmonica or
banjo—they're not exactly common instruments but they're definitely worth
exploring too!
I started
learning playing guitar when I was in highschool and up until now I am still
learning it.
Skydive
Skydiving
is a fun activity for the whole family. You can do it in many different places
around the world, and it's a great way to see new places and experience new
things. One of the biggest on my bucket
list is skydiving. One to pray for is skydiving
in Australia or in Dubai. Surely one
thing that I am not going to leave earth without doing.
Learn a new language
Learning
a new language is one of the best things you can do in your 20s. As for me, when started learning Spanish back
in 2010 it is for career advancement reason.
You may also use that too. You may
check this blog that I created for learning a new language here.
If you
want to learn something new, there are lots of ways to do it. You can take
classes at a local community center or university. As for me, I started studying in-class at
Instituto Cervantes de Manila it took me 6 months to get the hang of it because
I use it for work, or you may download free apps that teach you how to speak
the language and write it down in your own words. There are also apps like
Duolingo (which teaches basic vocabulary) and Babbel (which teaches grammar)
that will help you become fluent in these languages quickly enough so that when
students start talking about them at work tomorrow morning, everyone knows what
they're talking about!
There may
be some costs associated with these programs—but when compared against having
no knowledge at all about a foreign culture... well...
Remember to take time for yourself
- Take time for yourself.
- Relax and unwind.
- Do something you enjoy, such
as reading a book or going for a walk.
- Think about what you want
out of life and how your goals can help others in the future, too. You
might also want to think about how much time each person has in their day;
if they don’t have enough time for themselves, then why should we? We need
our own space so that we can recharge our batteries when necessary!
- Be honest with yourself—what
is it that makes spending time with others difficult? Is there someone who
makes it hard for everyone else around them?"
Show Love
- Love is the most important
thing in life.
- Love is what makes us human.
- Love is what makes the world
go round.
- Love is what makes the world
a better place to live in, so that we can all be together as one people
instead of being divided by race and religion or any other differences we
might have (like our favorite sports team).
Take Up a New Hobby
You don't
have to be an expert at anything to get started, but it's important that you
find something that interests you. If you want to learn a new skill and take up
a new hobby, this is the perfect time of year for it! Make sure whatever
activity or project interests you doesn't require too much time commitment—this
can be difficult when trying out new things and learning from mistakes (which
will happen).
Here are
some suggestions:
- Learn how to cook an exotic
dish from your favorite restaurant (or even make one yourself)
- Start doing yoga every day
for at least 30 minutes
- Try something new like
painting with watercolors instead of acrylics
Explore
Explore
is a wonderful thing to do. You can explore the world, or just your
neighborhood.
There are
many places that you can explore!
Be Kind to Yourself
Self-care
is the best self-love. It's important to take time for yourself and consider
your needs, because it's easy to get caught up in everyone else's happiness,
but we all need some time to ourselves every now and then. When we do this, we
feel better about ourselves, which makes us more likely to be kind towards
others as well. If you're struggling with saying no or learning how to set
boundaries with people who are affecting your happiness negatively (or vice
versa), here are some tips on how best love yourself:
- Learn how much sleep each
night will give you energy throughout the day (and beyond). If a friend
asks if they can come over later than usual because their kid has soccer
practice at 3pm instead of 2pm like planned—say yes! Or maybe just go out
for lunch instead of ordering takeout food? You'll feel better about
yourself after taking care of yourself first thing in the morning than
when eating something processed from fast food restaurants late into
evening hours after work ends around midnight...and so on...
Be Kind to Others
Be kind
to others. Remember to help your EQ. Always remember how your EQ can help your business.
It's true
that we can't control what another person is going through, but it's important
for us to be kind—to everyone around us. Whether it's a small gesture or a big
act of kindness, kindness shows that you care about how your actions affect
others and how they might respond back in return.
If you're
already doing this sort of thing at home (or anywhere else), then keep up the
good work! But if not, now is the time to start being more mindful of your
interactions with others.
Give Generously
Giving
generously is one of the most beautiful things you can do for yourself, your
community and the world.
There are
many benefits to giving: it helps keep our hearts open, it’s fun, and it keeps
us connected with other people who are doing good work in their lives. It also
opens up new opportunities for us to grow as individuals and change the world
around us through our actions.
Giving
money or volunteer time doesn't have to be complicated at all – we've got
plenty of tips on how you can give generously without spending too much time or
money!
Travel Somewhere to See Something You Never Thought
Possible
How about
a trip to somewhere new? You can see the world's most beautiful sights and
experience new cultures, languages and customs. Traveling will open your eyes
to different ways of life that you might not have thought possible.
You may
want to go somewhere for the first time just because it looks amazing: a trip
to Machu Picchu, for example, or Mount Everest Base Camp (we're not
recommending either). But if you've always wanted something else from your
travels—like seeing how people live in other countries—you should definitely
consider taking this trip!
Learn Something New Everyday
Learning
something new every day is essential to your development as a person. It helps
you grow, learn, and become better equipped to deal with the world around you.
But how do we make sure that we're constantly learning?
It's not
easy—we all have busy lives and there are so many things competing for our
attention. But it's possible! Here are some tips on how you can prioritize
learning:
- Find time in your schedule
to learn something new every day (even if it's just an hour)
- Pick one thing at a time:
don't try to do them all at once or else it will feel overwhelming
- Make sure whatever course of
action you choose has practical application for real-world situations
Drink More Water
Drinking
more water is one of the best things you can do for your body. It's also
something that most people don't take the time to do, but it's essential for
maintaining good health and staying hydrated.
Drinking
enough water helps keep your blood pressure normal, keeps your skin
blemish-free and healthy looking, keeps your organs functioning properly
(including the brain), aids digestion and helps lower cholesterol levels in the
body.
The
recommended intake for adults is about eight 8oz glasses of fluids every
day—that's 2 quarts or 2 liters!
Clean Up the Earth (and your neighborhood)
Here are
some ways you can help the environment:
- Pick up trash and recycle.
Don't just pretend that you've done it, because if everyone realizes how
much trash there is in their neighborhood, they will start to put out more
recycling bins and make a conscious effort to keep the Earth clean.
- Plant trees. Trees help
absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and clean water from pollution
by absorbing toxins like pesticides and heavy metals before they reach our
waterways (or at least they should). Even better than planting your own
tree is donating one! You could plant one on someone else’s property
too—you never know what kind of impact it might have on them too! Just
make sure that whoever receives your donation agrees with its purpose
first before donating something like this; otherwise there could be legal
repercussions later down the line when things go wrong...
Grow a Garden or Plant a Tree (Or Both!)
Planting
a tree is a great way to help the environment while also making your yard look
nice. You can plant a tree for every birthday, anniversary, or other special
occasion like Mother's Day or Father's Day. You can even plant a tree in memory
of someone who has passed away.
This is a
great family tradition that everyone can do together!
Save Energy and Money by Using Less of It
- Use less energy:
This is a
no-brainer. You can save money and help the environment by using less of it. If
you're already doing this, congratulations! If not, start today! Turn off
unused lights when they're not in use, use fans instead of air conditioning (or
at least try to), turn off appliances when they're not being used, and so on.
You'll be surprised at how much energy saving comes from simply doing things
like this every day—and it will also make your life more enjoyable as well!
- Use less water:
If you
have access to running water for washing dishes or brushing teeth (or both),
then go ahead and continue doing that until 2023 reaches its end date.* However
if neither option applies then prepare yourself - because the only other option
available is manual labor with buckets full of dirty water.* We don't recommend
doing this unless absolutely necessary though—it's just too much work compared
with using tap water straight from your faucet.* Instead try recycling leftover
food scraps into compostable materials as mentioned above instead.* Or buy
fresh produce locally instead - which means spending less time driving around
town looking for farmers' markets while having healthier foods delivered right
into their front doors without ever leaving home!
These are all great ideas for making this world
better.
These are
all great ideas for making this world better.
- You can start by doing
something every day, and then when you're done with that, move on to
another thing. It's a great way to stay engaged in the process of making
our world a better place!
Conclusion
Hopefully,
you will have a lot of fun with these ideas. And if you don't, that's OK too!
The point is to have some lightheartedness in your life.
